I also have similar type of Nokia pictured except the few button design it has battry type BBH-1S 6.0 V and has a label marked Type NHE-4NY inside - it was given to me as a gift by my nephew who had brought it from Australia. However, I do not have its orignial charger and I am also wondering if the battery can be recharged or can I be able to buy a new battery ( or where can I?) I kind of love this set though it has enormous size compared to modern ones! Can any one give me the answers to my questions? Thank you.

Heya...Lol I think I had an even larger model, in fact it was bigger than a cordless phone. I made good use of it - clunking folks on the head. It is probably lying around amidst all the junk I collect...dunno how I cam across your blog but glad I did. I think it had something to do with mirchi ki sabsi..oh and mirchi is plain hot aka spicey. Btw did you know when folks key in their comment here the Apostrophe key does not work. Hmmm...cheers anyway pal

My first mobile was a Nokia 5110, perhaps the best mobile in the whole History. I think Nokia is still the king of usability... creating some kind of addictiveness once you have tried their menus.

And a message to any O2-Telefonica bloggers: we are all meeting at the URL Jag kindly said. We keep in touch!

Thanks Jag
